Why can’t I express my opinions on these websites properly? Why do I get stopped for swearing? What happened to freedom of speech?

Ask yourself, do you want people to know what you think, or how you feel?
Swearing, name-calling, capital letters, etc. communicates how you feel.
Not everyone will feel the way you do about the subjects you care about. Therefore, not everybody will learn what you think because emotions will dominate.
If your ideas are important, it is wisest to find a way to communicate them in the least emotional way possible.
With that said, social media should allow people to express their emotions too.
