Is Marxist thinking outdated?
His thoughts will be applicable to some until evolution makes possible our capacity to reason at birth. Presently, humans must develop reason.
Marxism is the politics of irrational people. Irrational people believe that they KNOW the truth. That is to say, they are unable to meaningfully contemplate another view (no reason). This is how they are oppressed.
Marxists, therefore, feel abandoned in a free society. Free societies require reason (via self-reliance and self-governance) for success. Marxists cannot contribute with merit.
Consequently, Marxists seek to become the oppressor to escape their “oppressed” state. This is how Marxism is a revolutionary ideology. Marxists overturn. They do not problem solve as the evolutionary approach to improving society.
