Have communists historically pointed towards their political opposition about certain issues that they themselves have actually been a part of?

In Marxism
Communists/Marxists are irrational. In fact, Marxism is the politics of the irrational (habit thinking only). Rational people problem solve (evolution). Irrational people tear down to build “Utopia” (through revolution).
An irrational person simply follows the cognitive (habit) paths that work for them. Arguments that an irrational person hears from you or others end up in their habit thinking area. If the argument works, they will use that argument back at you. Truth is not a consideration. Success is the only consideration (see operant conditioning below).
This is how gaslighting happens. I know it sounds crazy, but it is not. It is irrational.
