Emotionally or intellectually mature people hold hypotheses (conceptual models) in their prefrontal cortex (in reason). The intellectually immature hold thoughts as truths in their cerebral cortex. This is habit. The former is subject to revision. The latter, since it is not a conceptual model, is not.
