The Bible’s First Commandment Demands That You Think For Yourself — How Great And Generous is That?
On X (Twitter), an atheist complained that the Bible told people what to think.
Atheist:
Me …
The atheist’s claim is not true. The Bible demands that you think for yourself. In fact, this Commandment is the first and most important Commandment (says Jesus).
“And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.’”
