“True science confirms what the Bible teaches!” NO. Logic is not reason.

No.

You are conflating logic with the pursuit of truth (Grace).

I can say this because only God can confirm God’s truth. Science, being the pursuit of truth (like Grace), never confirms. Instead, it seeks to understand why God’s truth is how it appears to be (this is humility before God–an essential requirement for Grace). Understanding can be either subjective (individual) or objective (group), but it is never absolute (God’s).

By contrast, logic ensures the mind has only one truth (reconciling when there are several). When the mind has only one truth, the mind returns “confirmed” every time.

Rules of Logic

  • Law of Identity: A statement is true if and only if it is itself. For example, “A is A”.
  • Law of Non-Contradiction: A statement cannot be both true and false at the same time. For example, “It is both raining and not raining here now” is contradictory.
  • Law of Excluded Middle: For any statement, either that statement or its negation must be true. For example, either “it is raining” or “it is not raining” must be true.
