Quora: What’s the difference between Socialism, Marxism, and Communism?
Marxism is revolution. PERIOD. Socialism and communism are a utopian ruse to lure adherents into revolution.
GOOGLE – “Marxism is inherently revolutionary. According to the foundational theories of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, society progresses through class struggle. [1]
Marx argued that capitalism’s inherent inequalities would eventually drive the working class (proletariat) to overthrow the ruling class (bourgeoisie), seize the means of production, and establish a classless, communist society. [1, 2]”
That’s the point — the goal. Socialism and communism are the ”what next,” but they are not the goal. This is why it does not matter that socialism and communism have not succeeded. Revolution does, and again, that’s the point.
Listen to the Marxists (Democratic Socialists) here:

Marxists simply wish to destroy the system they are cognitively unable to participate in. Note also that the Democratic Socialists advocate revolution, which is antithetical to democracy.
Well, Marxists are not rational. This is why capitalism makes no sense to them.
Marxists are cognitively oppressed. They cannot problem-solve, which requires critical thinking. Again, this is why revolution is appealing to them.
Whereas problem-solving produces wealth. In contrast, Marxists perceive themselves as only labor. Which is not the solution to problems. Sometimes, maybe even many times, labor is required, but when it is purely an expense (i.e., no merit or problem-solving), it remains part of the problem.
Capitalists will seek to design it out.
Therefore, capitalism is civilization, and vice versa. Marxism is tribalism (collectivism). The two are obviously incompatible. The Marxists see this because they are left behind in civilization. You might not because you are a problem-solver (with the capacity to offer merit).
So, the destruction of civilization is the Marxist goal (revolution), and tribalism is generally the end result: collectivism under authoritarianism. Perpetual revolution is required to keep it there.
Bottom line: Marxists are the oppressors. They always were. Socialism and communism are saltwater from the ocean when you crave a drink of water.
