Modern liberalism is the trailhead to socialism, leading to Marxism. From there, you can still see or experience civilization. It’s like base camp before climbing Everest. Whereas Marxism is like the civilizational death zone above 8,000 meters (26,247 feet), where cognitive flexibility is too low to sustain problem-solving and civilization.
Liberalism begins the process by embracing secularism. Marxism ends civilization by rejecting monotheism.
Socialism is the dangerous path along the way.
