Capitalism does not work for Marxists. That’s how they see it. They lack free will and thereby do not have free and independent minds. Consequently, it really doesn’t work for them. Marxists cannot problem-solve. Yet, capitalism is the economic framework for problem-solvers (excess wealth creation). Marxists, in contrast, are collective thinkers. They know what the hive knows, and that is it.
So Marxists wish for a return to some form of collectivism — their safe space. However, this, paradoxically, does not compute for problem-solvers. For their part, they imagine that any problem civilization has can be solved. However, because of their emotional immaturity, i.e., no free will, the collectivists remain stuck in tribal (historical) thinking. Meanwhile, the capitalists are civilizational and continue to solve problems. This creates expanding wealth and entitlement, tragically growing the ranks of the emotionally immature (entitled). So it produces a kind of mindless cycle.
Do you see the problem?
Eventually, civilization loses the talent to sustain itself. It collapses. Then suffering, again, expands the ranks of problem-solvers. Civilization returns. It is a crazy Groundhog Day cycle. (I love that movie)
