QUORA – Why do some people think redistributing wealth doesn’t really help the average person in the long run?

Helping people creates dependents, furthering their emotional immaturity. When dependents do not get what they need, they become victims. Victims, in their emotional immaturity, tear down the system that once fed them. They feel entitled.

Wealth redistribution thus destroys civilization and the system that sustained and motivated everyone in their individuality.

There is no viable middle ground (e.g., socialism).
