Marxism is the politics of the irrational
Why do several people say that Marx was an idiot or inept?
I don’t think either Marx or Engels were idiots. They were irrational.
Marx and Engels could not reason. Irrational people choose solutions for emotional reasons, not because the solution survives scientific method testing and thus appears closer to the truth.
Irrational people can have good brains, but for any one of a number of causes, they cannot reason. Reason requires that the thinker set aside their emotions and find the truth. Whereas, irrational people pursue change in accordance with what they already believe is true. That’s the simple difference.
Much of the conflict you see today is a result of irrationality. And Marxism is the politics of irrational people. Marxists are drawn to it, because, as irrational people, they themselves feel oppressed. Irrational people conclude they know things, and yet others will not bend to their “truths”. Their views are thereby oppressed.
Increasingly, reason (critical thinking) is not developed in public schools. I think this is because it is poorly understood. Nevertheless, this would explain why Marxism is on the rise.
Marxists look for an “oppressed” group. Everyone else are thus positioned as members of the oppressing group. The Marxists then seek to remake society in order to eliminate the oppression, placing themselves in charge. They declare as absolutely TRUE their premise. Marxists do not involve members of either the oppressor or oppressed group to discover the truth. They already know. This is how they are irrational. I hope you can see that irrational people/Marxists are the great oppressors. In fact, they are the source of all societal oppression. Marxism is the political philosophy of oppression.
Finally. Since Marxists do not seek the truth, they cannot problem solve. Societies that have non-problem solvers (irrational people) in leadership, are doomed to catastrophically fail. It doesn’t matter the form of government: Capitalism, Socialism, Communism, or Totalitarianism.
We will call them idiots, but they are irrational. It is fixable, because they are not dumb.
