Political parties confuse truth with lies
Why do forms of politics appear to confuse truth with lies or intentionally hide the truth?
Reason is developmental. See the answer below the fold.
As people mature, they encounter situations that they desire to go one way, but fate deems go another. This now likely unhappy person has a personal (subjective) truth that they believe is ideal. However, life (the world) has another view. This is God’s learning framework at work. It is pretty effective at developing reason. I could never do that in my learningframework company. We tried, but only God can make life difficult with a clear conscious.
What happens next is the interesting part. Some people acquire to mental tools of reason, and come to see the wisdom in life’s bigger truth. For mental happiness, these individuals are forced to see things another way. If they reason, the life’s truth becomes acceptable. Their emotions are thereby managed. Others don’t. They jealously cling to their subjective truths. Those that don’t reason, continue to suffer (see Buddha 4 Noble truths). Do you now see why I think emotions can’t lead? Only reason can.
ANSWER: Life has been great. Humanity has received so much since WWII. Now, an increasingly larger segment of humanity do not no how to reason. This is especially true in America.
Politicians are exploiting (or a result of) this irrationality for power. Politicians are simply giving people what they want, or want to hear. Again, this is especially true in America.
It pisses me off. It makes crazy people. But, I know that one day I will see the greater truth in it. In the meantime, I will continue to make the case for reason—lend a hand so to speak. Maybe we can avoid a total collapse of society.
Nevertheless, because of irrationality, life will get harder and less entitled, and God’s learning framework will once again begin producing rational people.
