Yes.
I don’t think a neutral mind is good. If a question is important to you, I believe you would be enthusiastically pursuing it’s resolution. A neutral position suggest you do not care. Nevertheless, as you proceed down the path of pursuing the truth, you will arrive at intermediate answers. That’s good. You will have a truth that appears accurate. Just don’t stop.
Keep an open mind. Actively. Attempt to disprove your currently held truth. Be a skeptic. Look for other explanations. That’s how you help your mind remains open to new ideas.
This skeptical posture also inhibits you adoption of the current truth as absolute truth. That’s what you need to resist. If your mind adopts a belief as absolutely true, it is hard to let go when the time comes.
