No, I think life is unlimited.
However, never before have humans participated in such large and complex societies. Human brains, and developmental systems, are not yet up to the task.
In the past, hardship developed reason, problem solving, and affluence. Unfortunately, affluence kill reason and problem solving.
To progress, humanity will have to learn how to develop reason outside of hardship. Otherwise, we will never progress beyond periods of wealth and success.
Evolution. It’s amazing. We now have to develop societal wisdom, or long term growth will face a ‘brick wall’.
It is the reason barrier. (like the sound barrier).
