What are some examples of deviation from reality?
Individually – Narcissistic Personality Disorder and many other personality disorders. Also, simple irrationality (by definition).
There is a philosophical framework that enables political and social movements that purposely deviate from reality. In this model, the pursuit of change is pursued, and not the pursuit of truth (legitimate philosophy). The pursuit of change frameworks are: Marxism, Critical Theory, postmodernism, and others.
The designers of the change frameworks are often narcissistic too. This is why the promoters of these change frameworks are unable to see conflicting views as legitimate.
