What is more important to people in society? Freedom or safety?
Your capacity to reason is what is critical.
Without it, you will simply be unable to live in freedom, because the many unknowns and risks of freedom will cause you experience a continuous state of fear, about everything, thereby requiring that you demand that others provide for your safety. But that dependent path is a meaningful-life dead end. You will exist in a prison of knowns.
COVID 19 was a reason developing bomb. The pandemic created great fear because the people were not entirely rational. It WAS NEVER possible to create perfect safety from COVID with a fully escaped (thank you China Communist Party) disease, and an imperfect “vaccine”. Yet fear prevented the people from discovering and accepting that (the censors at big tech helped). To lower their fears, individuals must now learn to navigate life with COVID. That self-learning is reason. And with it, the people will be more free—both from fear, and in their lives.
